The Secretary, Directorate of National Cohesion and Values attended the 7th Annual meeting of the Global Network of R2P Focal points. The two (2) day meeting held in Qatar on 24th and 25th discussed challenges and opportunities for accountability for mass atrocity crimes, the global rising hate speech and Xenophobia, as well as the ongoing refugee crises and its impact upon efforts to prevent and halt genocide, ethnic cleansing, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
