Article 132 (c) (i) and (ii) requires the President to once every year report, in an address to the nation, on all the measures taken and the progress achieved in the realisation of the national values, referred to in Article 10 and publish in the Gazette the details of the measures and progress made under sub-paragraph (i).

The Executive Office of the President through the Directorate of National Cohesion and Values received 508 reports from MDAs during the reporting period compared to 429 in 2022. In addition, the submissions in the 2022/2023 Report exhibited remarkable improvement in quality.   This improvement may be attributed to the extensive capacity building of institutions through training, advocacy and sensitization on national values and principles of governance undertaken by the Directorate of National Cohesion and Values.
